Hi! I’m Cecilia.
I’m a New York City–based stage/film actor and singer, drawn to stories that live on the edge of something electric: Whether it’s chaotically comedic, devastatingly dramatic, or delightfully, unapologetically absurd. I like to create the kind of work that makes people laugh a little too loudly, sit in silence a little too long, or question everything on their way home.
Feel free to call me CC.
About Me
I’d like to thank my parents for gifting me a pink plastic princess guitar at the ripe age of 2. I would also like to apologize for all the hours they spent against their will watching me perform 4 variations of choreography to “Beauty and the Beast.” (If you ask them, they will tell you they loved it, but we all know the truth…) But I guess I should go back to thanking them. Because who would have thought that little pink guitar would be the catalyst for that little girl to grow up and pursue this not-so-little dream.
I’m from a small town in Massachusetts, where I’ve lived all my life before moving to New York City. I am currently obtaining my BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch, and have studied at the Atlantic Acting School. When I’m not tucked away in the creative bliss of a dark theater (or performing 4 variations of choreography to “Beauty and the Beast”) I am most likely attempting to learn a random new skill, Google mapping the nearest beach, or listening to my new favorite song on loop (Currently it is “Rein Me In” by Sam Fender and Olivia Dean.)
Whether it is chaotically comedic, devastatingly dramatic, or absolutely absurd, I create with roots grounded in immense passion.
